In an IT program involving transformation or product build ,understanding the technology has been of vital importance. I have found it critical to have a good appreciation of the technology for the success of the product or a program. Even though I am not a developer, I have always endeavoured to gain good understanding of the underlying technology. I do have some background in coding learning C++ years back so I am not intimidated by technology and is able to logically view it in if..then..else format. Where I have found it to be most useful is then able to gain and gather right context while solutionising problems be able to effectively contribute to it.
